As the brand designer for Revelstoke Mountaineer Magazine, I redesigned its visual identity to better reflect its unique context and evolving readership. This Canadian publication, which includes a monthly print edition distributed in Revelstoke and an online news platform, required a refined brand system to enhance its impact. The project involved a comprehensive brand study, an updated value proposition, and an evolved brand voice to engage a broader, modern audience. The refreshed identity preserves the magazine’s heritage while introducing a more cohesive and contemporary look. A key element of the design, the striking illustration of the Swiss mountain guide, was created by Carlos Cubides.
